For those who have a boathouse, a 5/16” eight-point socket is required to tighten the steel slats to the canopy bows. It is vital that you do not misconstrue that either a twelve-point or a six-point socket can be used instead of an eight-point socket; this is not possible. It is recommended that you have an adjustable pipe wrench, preferably 18” long for adequate leverage, so that the vertical pipes can be twisted before the pipe removal jack is used. A 3/8” drive socket wrench with a half-inch eight-point socket is also recommended. This will be used to tighten the half-inch square head set screws that the dock is primarily assembled with.
